Restarting on ground that has been worked before.

Bringing an existing mine back to life is, by nature, a lower-impact path than opening a new one. The infrastructure, the pads and the plant are already there.

Environment

The operation runs under an approved Program for Environment Protection and Rehabilitation, with progressive rehabilitation of disturbed ground.

Community

Leigh Creek and Copley have a deep mining heritage. Restarting the mine returns employment to a community that has long been tied to the ground.

Governance

A private Australian company, operating to South Australian mining law and reporting its resource to JORC 2012.

Site overview

Working within the landscape.

The Flinders Ranges is a landscape of national significance. Any restart must respect that. Cuprum's approach is to work with the existing footprint, minimise new disturbance, and rehabilitate as operations progress.

Native title and heritage matters are managed through the established processes with the relevant traditional owners.
