Agreement to acquire the Leigh Creek Copper Mine

Cuprum Metals, through South Pacific Mineral Investments Pty Ltd, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire 100% of the Leigh Creek Copper Mine from Strategic Minerals plc (AIM: SML). Strategic Minerals announced the agreement on 3 September 2026. Completion is subject to conditions, including approval by the Australian Foreign Investment Review Board. The FIRB documentation is in process and Cuprum expects no issues.

Application to the PACE Minerals programme

Cuprum has applied to the South Australian Government's PACE Minerals programme, the Plan for Accelerating Exploration, which co-funds minerals exploration across the state. Round 1 applications closed on 11 September 2026.
